Finnian Posted November 7, 2023 Report Share Posted November 7, 2023 Another Halloween has come and gone, and for our friends in the Northern Hemisphere, winter is coming... or in some of our cases has already arrived like an uninvited house guest that is eating all your snacks. So for November, Staff will be working on Christmas stuff, while those who celebrate Thanksgiving this time of year enter into a food coma from eating too much turkey. Next Maintenance is on December 4, 2023! Rule Change Inappropriately named vendor shops have been a problem in the past, and again recently. It's a problem because these signs, which can stay up for quite a while, are highly visible and are nearly impossible to avoid if one needs to visit Prontera. We understand that players use their vendors as a means of protesting, and in some cases even harassing staff, but enough is enough. The following rule has been added to Public Mischief. Setting up a Vending/Buying Shop or a Chat Room with an inappropriate message on the sign. Inappropriate topics for player-made signs include, but are not limited to: politics, religion, and sex. The offending character will be disconnected from the server to remove the sign. This offense earns a 24 Hour Mute for the offending character. On a player's third offense and beyond, they will receive a temporary ban on one or more accounts as deemed necessary. If three or more staff members have deemed the shop name to be inappropriate then it will be treated as such. We will not provide a list of everything that is inappropriate. If you push the boundary, you'll find out. Most of you are adults, so you know what you are doing. Monthly Updates Featured Auro Shop Costumes Featured Jellybean Rewards Additional Notes Auro Shop and Jellybean exchanger have been updated. Jellyblob was updated to reflect change in Auro Shop costumes. Reduced fame points by 10% for all characters on accounts inactive for 90 days. Halloween scripts have been disabled. All items used as Halloween event currency have been removed. White Musang Hat should be fixed. Prontera has been changed back to normal. Item 2022 type has been corrected. Don't forget to patch!
