I can't believe it. Has it really been this long... Year after year always rewinding where we've gone... Oh hey, Jellybeans! Didn't see you there. It's summer again, and that means playing Volleyball, collecting Summer Suits, and saving your Summer Festival Coins! We're still working on fixing up the place as time allows. This month boasts a fix for potential Leviathan overpopulation as well as actually fixing the Auro Board quest reset issue for real real* this time. And don't worry, beans. When we say "One More Summer" we mean one just like many others. Hopefully, in the future we will be able to bring you some new content to cure the summertime blues! Sunshine and Rainbows Ranked Volleyball A couple years ago we made some gameplay improvements and a new scoring system. You may notice that the ball moves quicker and farther than classic volleyball. Both teams start with 250 points and various actions in the game will transfer some of your points to the opposite team, and vice versa. When a team runs out of points, they have lost and the game is over. Always try your best because now your wins and losses are tracked using an Elo-like system. Everyone starts out at 1000 and the number will go up or down depending on your performance. Besides starting a match and learning more about the game, you can check your "rank" with the fabulous-looking Info Guy (cmd_fild07 256, 107). We hope everyone hits the court frequently and enjoys the competition. No prizes yet, but any feedback is appreciated! Summer Suits Aloha Shirts and Swimming Shorts will drop from various monsters. Bring these parts to Tailor Jessica near the volleyball court in Beacon Island in exchange for Event Costume Boxes (#1 or #2). These boxes contain two different styles of a full-body summer suit costume. You may end up with more than you will use, but hang onto these boxes because they can be exchanged for Summer Festival Coins at the Carnival in August! Summer Festival Coins For now, this currency is only obtainable by attending GM-hosted live events, exchanging 1 Jellybean for 10 coins, or getting one from a Jellyblob at a very low chance. They will be easier to obtain in August, but now's your chance to get a head start and save some Zeny later! Summer Gacha It's back to tempt you out of your hard earned Auro this summer! We removed a few of the costumes that have already saturated the market and added a few items that are extremely rare. If your luck is OVER 9000 you might manage to snag a top headgear costume that has only been available during special events! If costumes aren't your thing, there is a small chance of getting one of several high end equipment items. But Does It Have Kahos??? you ask. Technically no, but I think you will like your options! New Costume Since we try to keep our featured costumes on a 3-year rotation cycle to keep repeats from popping up too often, we had run out of rainbow colored costumes to feature this month, so I costume-ified the Rainbow Scarf. You may find it in the Jellyblob and Summer Gacha as well as the Auro Shop. Enjoy! Next maintenance is on July 6th @ 4 PM CDT (Server Time) Summer events end on September 7th Monthly Updates Featured Auro Shop Costumes Featured Jellybean Rewards Additional Notes Fixed spawning issues with Leviathan. Fixed issue with Auro board quests left in quest log after reset. * C. Rainbow Scarf added. Auro Shop and Jellybean exchanger have been updated. Jellyblob was updated to reflect change in Auro Shop costumes. Reduced fame points by 10% for all characters on accounts inactive for 90 days. * There might be some edge cases where the fix won't work on pre-existing states. But it shouldn't be an issue going forward. If you find the fix not working for you, please contact staff, we'll have to manually remove the quest variables from your account and characters. Don't forget to patch! How are we doing? Give us feedback! If something isn't working correctly, please submit a bug report.

We hope you all enjoyed the 10th Anniversary party we threw in Kathis's honor last month! After that whirlwind of live events, boxes, and special surprises, expect this month to be a bit more chill. We'll be focusing more on working through the long list of bugs... and summer is not too far away. One thing we fixed this month was the auro board quest reset NPC (Marsha). If you have any auro quests lingering in your quest log after a previous reset, give it another try and those quests should be properly cleared. Other than that, we decided to keep Kathis's Dedication Statue around indefinitely! The statue may be moving to a new location soon, but for now it is still located in Prontera (185, 215). Leaving a message has been disabled, but the buff is still available. Speaking of messages, read on to see the thank you notes that players left at the statue over the past couple of weeks! Next maintenance is on June 1st @ 4 PM (Server Time)! Overflowing with Gratitude We received so many messages for Kathis that we couldn't include them all, but below is listed a large sample of unique notes. You rock, Jellybeans! Monthly Updates Featured Auro Shop Costumes Featured Jellybean Rewards Additional Notes The auro board quest reset NPC now clears all relevant quests properly. Leaving a message at the Dedication Statue has been disabled. Auro Shop and Jellybean exchanger have been updated. Jellyblob was updated to reflect change in Auro Shop costumes. Reduced fame points by 10% for all characters on accounts inactive for 90 days. Don't forget to patch! How are we doing? Give us feedback! Hosted by: Finnian & Cayde | Gathering place: Veins | Maximum time: 4 hours (Expect at least 2-3 hours, depending on classes and player experience) Endless Cellar is a similar in concept to Endless Tower, but with different monsters and increased difficulty. If the party makes it to the end of this nightmare of a dungeon leading them deep underground, they will arrive at the 100th floor where they must endure a series of trials before facing the fearsome final boss. Check the Endless Cellar wiki article for more details. If at least 8 players show up with level 95+ characters, preferably transcended and well-geared, then we will attempt Endless Cellar. (The alternate plan is Endless Tower.) Finnian and his assistant(s) will provide a few helpful buffs to aid the brave adventurers in their race to the bottom/top. Party wipe? No problem. Finnian can revive the party. However, for every 4 revives the the prize category will drop (more on this later). If the party clears the Endless Cellar quickly and certain qualifications are met, which will be discussed before the event starts, they may contend for the JellyRO Endless Cellar World Record! The current record for EC is: 1 hour 53 minutes 48 seconds 61 milliseconds. A party that manages to break the record has a chance to win a bonus Super prize. [For Endless Tower, the prize category will drop every 2 party revives. The current record for ET is: 1 hour 0 minutes 35 seconds 54 milliseconds.] Prizes Every 25th floor cleared earns the party a reward from the next highest prize category, and these prizes are cumulative. Floor 25 is a Small prize, floor 50 is a Medium prize, floor 75 is Large, and a Super prize for defeating the final boss. The party will also earn a Jellybean for each hour (rounded up), and 1 Auro per floor passed, up to 100. Even if you dropped one prize category for revives, beating the record will still earn you a Super prize. You can learn more about prize categories here. For my Endless Cellar event, the prizes are doubled, and still cumulative! That means, you get twice as many Small prize items for passing floor 25, twice as many Medium prize items for passing floor 50, twice as many Large prize items for passing floor 75, and two different Super prizes for defeating the final boss on floor 100. Beat the record using less than 4 revives and you could end up with three Super prizes! The event will start promptly at 8pm CDT (UTC-5). Get your gear and supplies ready ahead of time. Depending on what character classes/jobs show up, it may not be ideal to bring your main, so if you have a viable alt, make sure they can be ready in a couple minutes. Once the event starts you won't be allowed to swap your characters, and each player can only bring one character, so choose wisely! Even if you normally wouldn't attempt Endless Cellar/Tower, but your character is at least level 69 (party exp share range is +/- 30), you are welcome to tag along to share the exp and loot as long as there are at least 8 characters over level 95 in the party. I strongly encourage bringing characters that will realistically be able to assist in fighting, and stay alive most of the time. If your character had an active role in a party that beat Endless Tower, they may be ready to try Cellar. This is not required, but Cellar is extremely difficult and inexperienced players may have a bad time. [For Endless Tower, I only require at least 4 characters over level 90.] It can be helpful to coordinate with other players. About 5-7 days before the event, look for a post in the lfg forum-style channel on JellyRO Discord, and tell us your preferences of which classes you could bring. I hope to see many of you at the event. Don't miss this chance to win a free Staff Anniversary Box!

THIS REPLACES THE NORMAL TUESDAY EVENT TODAY | Hosted by: Finnian & Cayde | Gathering place: Amatsu | Maximum time: 4 hours (usually takes about 2) Endless Tower is an instance dungeon that challenges players to clear 100 floors full of monsters, increasing in difficulty, with boss monsters on every 5th floor. If the party reaches the top, they must first defeat Entweihen Crothen, and only then can they enter the lair of the demon lord Naght Sieger. Check out our Endless Tower wiki article for more details. Finnian and his assistant(s) will provide a few helpful buffs to aid the brave adventurers in their race to the top. Party wipe? No problem. Finnian can revive the party. However, for every 2 revives the the prize category will drop (more on this later). The current record for ET is: 1 hour 0 minutes 35 seconds 54 milliseconds. A party that manages to break the record has a chance to win a bonus Super prize. Prizes Every 25th floor reached earns the party a reward from the next highest prize category, and these prizes are cumulative. Floor 25 is a Small prize, floor 50 is a Medium prize, floor 75 is Large, and technically the next reward would be at floor 100, but in order to obtain the Super prize the party must defeat the final boss after that floor. The party will also earn a Jellybean for each hour (rounded up), and 1 Auro per floor passed, up to 100. Even if you dropped one prize category for revives, beating the record will still earn you a Super prize. You can learn more about prize categories here. Jellybeans, this is going to be a month to remember! We are celebrating Kathis's 10th Staff Anniversary, and there will be some GM-hosted Endless Tower/Cellar runs, a special box of Kathis-inspired goodies, and perhaps a wholesome surprise a bit later. Of course we have still been busy with fixing bugs and making improvements. You will find that elemental Barrier Charms actually give you some elemental resistance now, and an NPC involved with getting you access to Scaraba Dungeon has been informed that the max level here is actually just 99. Also we hope you will check out the new channels we added to our Discord server. Thank You, Kathis! Congratulations to our amazing server owner who works in mysterious ways, and knows how to put on a good show. He was hired as a Developer 10 years ago, and server ownership was bestowed upon him just a little more than 2 years later. He is one of the most innovative coders and creative thinkers I have ever had the pleasure of working with. All of us on the staff have the utmost confidence that Kathis will keep JellyRO running long into the future. But to truly understand the significance of the milestone Kathis has reached, you have to look into the past. JellyRO is celebrating it's 10th year since its grand reopening. If you look back at our whole 20+ year history through 7 different owners (and 5 different names), you will see the anomaly that is an 8-year server owner. A good leader doesn't try to do everything alone, even if they technically can. They delegate tasks that are well suited to others and/or teach those who show potential. Kathis has developed a great team of people who continue to improve their skills through training and practice, and are encouraged to explore new ways to apply their talents. Our staff roster has only become stronger and more stable the longer that Kathis has been captain of the ship. Just in the past few years we celebrated a record number of milestone staff anniversaries. I think most of the staff will say they stay because they love JellyRO and being a part of the crew that shapes its future, but I think they also look at their leader and put their faith in his years of devotion to the server. We know he's not going anywhere. We believe in Kathis, and if you do too, we encourage you to show him your appreciation this month, whether that's in words or actions. Also we hope you enjoy the freshly stocked Staff Anniversary Box in the Auro Shop for 250 auro! Stay tuned for a new addition to the game that was made in honor Kathis, which will be added in the next week or so. And watch the calendar for some special events to be added soon! Event ends on May 4, 2026 @ 6 PM (Server Time) New Discord Channels We know the forums don't get the traffic they used to so we're trying to adapt and give players more options. Here's a quick guide to the channels and forums recently added to our Discord server. marketplace: A forum-style channel to buy, sell, and trade your JellyRO items. lfg: Otherwise known as "Looking For Group". A forum to recruit players or find a group to join for various party-oriented game activities. what-are-you-listening-to: A text chat channel to share songs you enjoy and chat about music. It's also worth mentioning that now we have 3 public voice chat channels that allow voice activation, while 2 still require push-to-talk. This has been requested many times so we decided to let players choose which kind of voice chat is best for their group. Monthly Updates Additional Notes Fixed the scripts for the volt, flame, aqua, and stone barrier charm accessories so they reduce the element by 10%. NPC Kalipo in the Scaraba Dungeon entrance questline has been edited to check for level 99 and not 100 and higher. Added a new NPC sprite that will be revealed later this month. Auro Shop and Jellybean exchanger have been updated. Jellyblob was updated to reflect change in Auro Shop costumes. Reduced fame points by 10% for all characters on accounts inactive for 90 days. Don't forget to patch! How are we doing? Give us feedback! If something isn't working correctly, please submit a bug report.

We hope you all enjoyed the Lunar New Year event with Zhurong, the amazing equipment-refining horse! Before he left to continue his quest to fortify those who fight against evil, he wished us luck in our battles ahead. With so many more upgraded armors and weapons, the odds are sure to be in our favor. Share your upgrading triumphs with us in the comments below. Any +10’s out there? As we move on from the Lunar festivities, it’s time to get down to business and fix stuff. This month we have a fix for the Imperial Guard item so it can actually be used by mortals (specifically, Crusaders and Paladins). You can try to obtain this shield from Rake Scaraba Eggs in the Scaraba dungeon (dic_dun02). We plan to have more updates next month that may include improvements to minigames, other item fixes, getting missing images in place on the database searches and forums, and... this already sounds like a lot. Also, if you’ve noticed the main website throwing errors and generally being slow, you’re not alone. We’ll work on making it more consistently functional for everyone. One more thing! A quick shout out to those celebrating one my favorite holidays, St. Patrick’s Day, later this month (March 17th)! While there’s no event, you can be festive with green headgear and/or dyes! If you’re lacking a green hat, the C. St Patrick’s Hat is in the item shop this month. Or if green isn’t your thing, perhaps the C. Pink Clover would be the perfect accent to your outfit. Until next time, have fun and thanks for keeping Jelly jiggling! Next maintenance is on April 6th @ 8 PM (Server Time)! Monthly Updates Additional Notes Autoloot has been disabled... for now. Job and level requirements to equip Imperial Guard (ID: 2153) have been fixed. Auro Shop and Jellybean exchanger have been updated. Jellyblob was updated to reflect change in Auro Shop costumes. Reduced fame points by 10% for all characters on accounts inactive for 90 days. Don't forget to patch! How are we doing? Give us feedback! If something isn't working correctly, please submit a bug report.

untilZhurong, a fiery stallion with magical smithing abilities, is coming to Yuno (/navi yuno 157/167) on February 16th! Legend has it that he taught the ancient dwarves a thing or two. As a special treat while we celebrate Lunar New Year, he will refine your equipment with no risk of destroying the item or any cards and enchantments it contains. If the refinement fails, only the upgrade levels from refining will be lost, leaving the item effectively at +0. But you can try again as many times as your resources allow! Good luck!

It's finally February, Jellybeans! To show our love and appreciation for our players, we enabled autoloot to ease the grind of preparing for the return of a special limited time event. The Lunar New Year refiner NPC was a big hit last year so we will bring it back with a fresh coat of paint. I know we said we would not be focusing on events this year, but it was a quick and easy update. It's the least we could do since we spent most of last month combing through so many bugs and ideas, and it is difficult to prioritize when there is so much work to be done and so much of it is important. A big thank you to all the players who reported bugs and made thoughtful suggestions. With all of you, we have many more eyes to spot where improvements could be made. Hopefully, we will have some fixes to share with you next month. Refined in Fire Zhurong, a fiery stallion with magical smithing abilities, is coming to Yuno (/navi yuno 157/167) on February 16th! UPDATE A new patch was released early on February 16th. You will need to patch before you login for the event. Event starts on February 16th at 10 AM and ends on March 2nd at 4 PM (CST) (Check forum calendar or Discord to see event schedule in your local time.) Next maintenance is on March 2, 2026 Monthly Updates Additional Notes Enabled autoloot commands. (See details here.) Removed a testing NPC that was too close to the Draco event control NPC in GM land. (Hopefully fewer misclicks now.) Auro Shop and Jellybean exchanger have been updated. Jellyblob was updated to reflect change in Auro Shop costumes. Reduced fame points by 10% for all characters on accounts inactive for 90 days. Don't forget to patch! How are we doing? Happy New Year, Jellybeans! We hope you enjoyed the Christmas event, as well as all the other events we shared with you over the past year. This month we mark the 10th Anniversary since we became JellyRO! Our server has a long history of different owners and names, and now we have managed to spend nearly half of it without changing our name again. But seriously, it is remarkable that we are still here and have more or less remained stable, if nothing else. This year in April we will also be celebrating Kathis' 10th Staff Anniversary! 2026 is shaping up to be a big year for us, but the way we celebrate may look a bit different than you would expect. Read on to learn more! Permanent Development If you have been here a while, you probably have a pretty good idea what to expect from each season since we tend to stick to the tried and true event mini games that received good feedback in past years. The truth is we would love to bring you fresh and exciting events on a regular basis, but competition from other games is making us reconsider the ways that we invest our time. Our focus this year will be on fixing bugs and making improvements to the game. That means we we are not planning any major seasonal events this year. If we find ourselves with spare time, we will try to throw in a bit of festivity, but that is not where you will find new content. We would rather add content that can be enjoyed whenever you want to play, than plan big events that may be entertaining, but temporary. It will take a lot of hard work, probably more than we've been putting in recently, but we have a good feeling that it will be worth it. In the meantime, we will need your help to find and report (or bump, if previously reported) any bugs and issues that need our attention. We prefer if you tell us about the bugs you find on the forum's Bug Tracker so we can try to keep things organized. If you haven't found any bugs, the best way to go about it is just keep playing normally... or perhaps a bit abnormally (try doing something different). Now is a good time to use that stash of goodies you have earned from past events! Next maintenance is on February 2, 2026! Monthly Updates Additional Notes Disabled autoloot commands. Removed leftover Christmas Presents. Disabled Christmas event scripts. Christmas Presents are no longer obtainable from fishing. Restored Prontera to normal. Disabled snow on maps that normally do not have snow.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to every Bean celebrating this month! We're keeping things pretty lowkey, but a special gift will hopefully make up for it. Santa Claus told us that so many good Jellybeans have been wishing for autoloot to return, so how could we say no? Enjoy it while it lasts until the end of the event. We still want to figure out a long-term solution for balance before we would make autoloot a permanent thing, but if there was ever a time of year for wishes to come true, it's now, so don't give up hope! Keep reading for info about what this year's Christmas event has to offer. Krampus is Coming to Town! Krampus is an event that occurs in Lutie every hour. An evil Baphomet-like monster known as Krampus will be wandering about and dragging a bag through town. Occasionally his bag will rip and drop Christmas Presents, but sometimes he will want some personal space and will blow up everyone who is near him. After about 8 minutes he will flee the town with whatever he managed to keep in his bag, but he will return soon enough for more. Hole-y Socks! Being in Lutie, the Christmas town of Midgard, has its own stress and troubles. Mierna (/navi xmas_in 91/91) is certain someone has stolen all of her Red Stockings. She will give you a Christmas present for every pair of stockings (2) you bring. It shouldn’t be too hard to locate the culprit. Antonio can be found in the fields of Prontera, Geffen, and Payon. Event Reward Shop Hidden in the IsFörsvar fields is a small town called Farvir. In the tavern is a little Mystcase named Gifu (/navi far_in01 15/26) that is collecting Christmas Presents for redistribution. You may ask Gifu about the event to get more tips on where else to obtain presents including ice fishing and weekly GM events. Bring loads of presents and Gifu will exchange them for wonderful rewards, including two powerful cards that have never been seen before on JellyRO! The Special Xmas Box has returned to the reward shop, and it can also be purchased in the Auro Shop, as is tradition. Put a Bow On It Did you know that you can gift wrap almost any item? To do so you just need to get your hands on both Wrapping Paper and Wrapping Lace. Clicking on one of them will open a shop menu. (This isn't a real shop, just how the client renders it.) Place a single item in the window and click sell. It will return to your inventory in a beautifully wrapped box. This feature is active year around, but this is a good time for a reminder! The Wrapping Paper and Wrapping Lace can be found by slaying Christmas Orcs and Christmas Goblins in the IsFörsvar Cave. 1 item type per sell window. No account bound items. You can wrap items in stacks. You can wrap refined items. You CANNOT wrap things that have cards or special data. You CANNOT wrap anything that is broken. You CANNOT wrap anything that is not identified. You CANNOT wrap other wrapped presents. This gift can be traded and mailed to your friends. They cannot be vended however, and you shouldn't be trading them with the intent of deception and/or making a profit. Santa is watching. Event ends on January 5, 2026 at 4 PM CST (UTC -06:00) Monthly Updates Additional Notes Autoloot, alootid, and autoloottype commands have been enabled for the Christmas event. Item prefix/postfix names were added for the following cards: Weird Coelacanth, Dark Coelacanth, Wild Rider Name of item (ID 8119) was corrected from "Judge Hat Kaho" to "Magistrate Hat Kaho" to match its sprite. Christmas Presents (event currency) have been added to the fishing loot pool. Prontera has been decorated for the holidays along with some festive music. The pumpkin pie NPC has left town, and leftover pie ingredients (Edible Pumpkin and Raw Dough) have been removed.

Spooky season may be over, but pumpkin season is still in full swing! We decided to keep the pumpkin spice flowing so you can keep making Powerful Pumpkin Pies in November. We hope you enjoyed the Halloween event and autoloot. Thank you so much for all your feedback. You have given us plenty to discuss... from the other buffs on the Greed bags to the Greed skill itself. It will take some time to come to a decision on a solution. Autoloot will be turned off for now, but it may return again soon, at least temporarily. The Pies Persist! Casper the travelling cook will stay with us another month and serve his trademarked Powerful Pumpkin Pies! As such, the Edible Pumpkin and Raw Dough drops will still be obtainable from monsters, but Casper won't be giving out any more Pumpkin Festival Certificates this month. Even though last year's pies have not yet expired, don't expect the pies to last forever. Enjoy the pumpkin spicy goodness until the next Halloween event. With +1 all stats and +1% Atk and MAtk, they're too sweet to be forgotten in your storage. Holy Moly! We thought it would be nice to reward the top Holy Water donor for going above and beyond. Keither gave 54,500 Holy Waters to keep Prontera's streets zombie-free! He has been rewarded with a Special Item Ticket. Next maintenance on December 1, 2025 @ 4 PM Server Time! Monthly Updates Additional Notes Leftover Pumpkin Festival Certificates and Trick or Treat masks have been removed. Halloween event NPCs have been disabled (except for the pie guy). Some vendors got displaced by objects when Prontera changed back to normal. They have been safely relocated to the sides of the street.

Good news everyone! In the spirit of celebrating Halloween, we decided to temporarily enable @autoloot commands! See spoiler for details. Please give us feedback about autoloot! What is positive or negative about it? Do the good things outweigh the bad, or are the issues too serious to justify making autoloot a regular thing? Let us know!

This Halloween season, Prontera has transformed into a haunted wonderland! Join the festivities with trick-or-treating, hunting pumpkin ghosts, making delicious pumpkin pie, and more! But beware... something darker lurks in the shadows outside Prontera. Gear up, gather your friends, and dive into this hauntingly fun event. Keep reading for more details! Let the Pumpkin Festival Begin! The annual Pumpkin Festival is a beloved JellyRO tradition dating back to November 2012 when the Halloween event was late due to the server almost closing before a brave soul stepped up to save us. Many things have changed since then (including the server name and owner), but we are still here to share spooky fun and treats with our players! Pumpkin Certs & Rewards There are lots of things you can do during this event, including a few mini-games in various towns, that give you Pumpkin Festival Certificates for participating. These can be exchanged for prizes by Hermann, the Ticket Master in Prontera (/navi prontera 147/198). However his stock is a little dry at the start. Visit him daily to see what he offers you. Rumor has it that the most desirable (and pricy) items will be available after 13 or 14 days of stopping by Hermann's shop. Plan accordingly! If you miss a few days, it won't reset your progress, but make sure you don't run out of time to unlock all the rewards! Also, remember to use the certificates before the event ends and they vanish. Trick or Treat Halloween lasts for one day, but during the Pumpkin Festival, it's still custom and practice to dress up and go from house to house to ask for candy for the entire month. You will be able to trick or treat in the five towns: Alberta, Geffen, Izlude, Niflheim, and Rachel. On the minimap you will see the locations of the houses where you can knock to ask for candy. But wait! You need to put on a costume first! In all of these five towns, you will find the Unhappy Mask Salesman, and he will assist you in creating a mask that disguises you as a monster to go trick or treating! Keep in mind that for each town, you need to put on a different mask. When using the mask, your costume will only stay for 1 minute, so better stand in front of a door, or else your mask will go to waste. The towns each have 10 houses giving out candy. You can only knock on a door once each day, and there are different kinds of candies or other surprises that you can get depending on the town. You can go trick or treating 10 times each day per character. For every successful knock on a door, you get 1 certificate. Now go, and find out which types of candy you can get from all the towns! Unhappy Mask Salesman locations for each town: Alberta 28,240 Geffen 39,124 Izlude 102,67 Niflheim 27,157 South of Rachel (ve_fild02) 183,380 Mysterious Pumpkins Mysterious Pumpkins will appear in the towns of Payon, Aldebaran, Comodo, and Morocc. They are quite harmless, but among them, a few Mischievous Ghosts are hiding, disguised as a pumpkin. Find the Mischievous Ghosts, and drive them out of the towns, so they stop scaring people. But be careful, they are quite swift... After 30 minutes, if all the ghosts have not been found, all of the pumpkins will disappear again. You will see an announcement when they're back! You get Certificates when you reveal them and when you manage to defeat them! After the mini-game ends, they will be back in 60 minutes. To ensure a smooth ghost hunting experience for yourself and other players, try to wait until you see the message confirming you killed the ghost before teleporting off to find more. Being mid-teleport while the system is processing the kill may result it not being counted, which can be confusing when people are looking for one more ghost that was already dealt with! This mini-game has been revamped so that we can run it as a GM weekly event. So look forward to earning those extra festival certificates if it is chosen by vote. Old Cobby's Spirit Face the elusive jelly pumpkin demon Old Cobby and keep him on his toes! If he's always on the run, he won't be able to turn Prontera into his personal patch of doom! Old Cobby's Spirit respawns every 10 - 20 minutes, in prt_fild08. Defeating him will reward 3 certificates and 1 old purple box. As a unique event monster, the rules for boss monsters apply to Old Cobby, so he is free-for-all. Good luck! Powerful Pumpkin Pies When you kill monsters you might receive an Edible Pumpkin or some Raw Dough. You can use these items to create a Powerful Pumpkin Pie that boosts your stats for a short while. To do that, bring 3 Edible Pumpkins and 1 Raw Dough to Casper, the not-so-dead travelling cook (/navi prontera 145/200). You can only get 1 certificate each day for creating pumpkin pies, but you can create as many pies as you wish. Uneasy Cemetery When night falls, the undead rise from their graves in Prontera. Bring Holy Water to Mother Mathana (/navi prontera 257/313), to ease the dead. She won't appear until the undead stir for the first time. She requires 1000 holy water, but as a community you can work together to keep Prontera safe. For every 100 holy water you hand in you will get a Pumpkin Harvest Certificate. When day comes, the dead will return back to their sleep to haunt another night. Mother Mathana will take all your holy water, even if you give her a surplus that covers more than one day. However, bringing more than the required amount of holy water can earn the city additional peaceful nights when the dead will not stir. A day in Ragnarok has been set for 12 hours. Night occurs at midnight and noon server time. Event ends on November 3rd @ 4 PM Server Time! (Maintenance start time is subject to change and will be updated here if necessary) Monthly Updates Additional Notes Some mask ingredients for all Trick or Treat towns except Niflheim had their required amounts decreased. Mobs that drop Trick or Treat mask ingredients have increased spawns on some maps where they normally appear.

The summer festivities have come to an end, and visions of all things pumpkin spice dance in our heads. The leaves may not have yet begun to fall, but Autumn is coming. More features and options for the BB Rooms may be added in the future based on feedback so please let us know what you think! Say it ain't so, Jellybeans! Summer is almost over, but as usual, we're making sure it goes out with a bang! We hope you enjoy the carnival games in a new location this year, and of course new rewards! We've also been mulling over a change to a widely used SQI accessory, and finally decided it was time to give Assassins a break since they are not as much of a threat to our custom plant-type Emperiums. That's right, all Assassin jobs can get +45 STR with one Megingjard, and a total of +60 STR with two, just like everyone else... except for Monk jobs, but that's a debate for another time. Anyway, please hold your cheers and/or boos until you've taken a look at what the End-of-Summer Festival has to offer! All Summer Events End on September 1, 2025 @ 4 PM Server Time! (Maintenance start time is subject to change and will be updated here if necessary) Carnival Arrives in Jawaii! The traveling carnival that made an appearance in Amatsu the past few years has decided they want to change things up a bit and set up their game stalls, food carts, and other attractions on the lovely island of Jawaii! To participate in the event, you will need to get get summer festival coins. These are rewarded by participating in live GM events, but you can get more by exchanging summer suits or zeny for coins from the talking Grand Peco on the Jawaii beach (Coin Exchanger: Jawaii 222,230). Before you start playing any games, you'll need also need to get a special game card from the Stem Worm right next to him (Points Redeemer: Jawaii 224, 227). All the points you earn from playing games will be stored on this card. You can share it between multiple characters if necessary, but don't lose it or you will have to get a new one with 0 points on it. Carnival Directory Monthly Updates Additional Notes Megingjard nerf for Assassin class has been removed. 5 new costumes added. Monsters will no longer spawn in Jawaii. Jawaii map has been updated for the End-of-Summer Festival event. Carnival NPCs have been relocated to Jawaii. Rewards from Point Redeemer and Petting Zoo have been updated. Petting Zoo and Fishing Master scores have been reset.

Summer is heating up and we hope you're staying cool! If you're out there touching grass, good for you! But if you've had enough of being cooked by the sun, come inside, grab a cold refreshing beverage, and chill while you farm for summer suit parts (they will be useful later!) or get your guild together for a volleyball match. Also the Jellybean Exchanger and Auro Shop have a few new costumes as well as some you may have missed before. If you're feeling lucky or just love surprises, the Summer Gacha is still available in the Auro Shop. Finally, don't forget that we host a live event every Saturday at 8 PM Server Time where you can win prizes, including Auro and Summer Festival Coins. You'll want to save those coins up for next month! Next maintenance is on August 4, 2025 @ 4 PM Server Time (Time is subject to change and will be updated accordingly) Summer Event ends on September 1, 2025! Monthly Updates Additional Notes Staff Anniversary Box was removed (we hope you liked it!) Added 5 new costumes Auro Shop and Jellybean exchanger have been updated. Jellyblob was updated to reflect change in Auro Shop costumes. Reduced fame points by 10% for all characters on accounts inactive for 90 days. Don't forget to patch! How are we doing? Hosted by: Finnian & Astrophel | Gathering place: Payon | Maximum time: 4 hours (usually takes 1-2) Endless Tower is an instance dungeon that challenges players to clear 100 floors full of monsters, increasing in difficulty, with boss monsters on every 5th floor. If the party clears the Endless Tower quickly and certain qualifications are met, which will be discussed before the event starts, they may contend for the JellyRO Endless Tower World Record! The event will start promptly at 8:00 PM CDT (UTC -5). Even if you normally wouldn't attempt Endless Tower, but your character is at least level 69 (party exp share range is +/- 30), you are welcome to tag along as long as there are at least 4 characters over level 90 in the party. It can be helpful to coordinate with other players. Hop on JellyRO Discord (invite link) and let people know in the #events channel which class you plan to bring. I hope to see many of you at the event. Don't miss this chance to win a free Staff Anniversary Box!

Ready or not, here comes summer! Our event features some updated summer classics and a big milestone for one of our staff members, plus we made a couple simple but useful updates players have been asking for. Summer at JellyRO can be as action-packed or laid-back as you'd like, but keep in mind that the carnival is expected to return for the End-of-Summer Festival in August. You'll want to save up for that, not to mention the exciting surprises in boxes that await you right now in the Auro Shop. We hope you have many fun adventures this summer, both in-game and in real life! Summertime Fun Ranked Volleyball is making a comeback to Beacon Island. Last summer we implemented some gameplay improvements, a new scoring system, and a new way to measure your volleyball skill. You may notice that the ball moves quicker and farther than before. We also decided that bigger numbers are better! If we get enough feedback, we may add prizes next year. We enabled the Summer Suit drops (Aloha Shirt & Swimming Shorts), which you can bring to Tailor Jessica at Beacon Island in exchange for Event Costume Boxes (#1 or #2). These boxes contain two different styles of a full-body summer suit costume. You may end up with more than you will use, but you will find another use for these boxes if you hang onto them until August! Also, the Summer Gacha is back in the Auro Shop for the season with a few adjustments and an addition that many players have in their sights... but getting it may be a long shot. Astrophel's Stellar Journey Astrophel joined us as a tester (under a different name) 5 years ago and has since grown into a Support GM who does so much more than support our players. She is a force of nature that keeps us spinning. Her love for JellyRO is shown through her creativity, enthusiasm, and honestly telling us when something needs to change. I told her I wouldn't make a big show, so I'll wrap up the accolades and get to the fun stuff! For a limited time, Astrophel's personally curated Staff Anniversary Box will be available in the Auro Shop for 250 Auro. There's also a small chance of getting one from a Jellyblob. You may also have a chance to win one if you attend any events this month. Be sure to open these orb-like boxes before the next maintenance or they will turn to stardust. Next maintenance is on July 7, 2025 @ 4 PM Server Time (Time is subject to change and will be updated accordingly) Summer Event ends on September 1, 2025! Monthly Updates Additional Notes Warps to WoE 2.0 dungeons have been added to Guild Dungeon Warper NPC. Kafra has been added to Event Map. 6 new costumes added. Last summer's volleyball rank points have been reset.

Hosted by: Finnian - Gathering place: Payon - Maximum time: 4 hours (Expect at least 2-3 hours, depending on classes and player experience) Endless Cellar is a similar in concept to Endless Tower, but with different monsters and increased difficulty. If the party makes it to the end of this nightmare of a dungeon leading them deep underground, they will arrive at the 100th floor where they must endure a series of trials before facing the fearsome final boss. Check the Endless Cellar wiki article for more details. If at least 8 players show up with level 95+ characters, preferably transcended and well-geared, then I will let the party decide if we will attempt Endless Cellar. (The alternate plan is Endless Tower.) I will be carrying on my spooky season tradition of adding a few "surprises" on your way through the dungeon. You may find some grim grinning ghosts that didn't come out to socialize! Due to the increased difficulty and time involved for Cellar, there will be fewer surprise spawns than usual. Finnian and his assistant(s) will provide a few helpful buffs to aid the brave adventurers in their race to the bottom/top. Party wipe? Hop on JellyRO Discord (invite link) and let people know in the #events channel which class you plan to bring.
