Well... we are going industry standard on resolution. Most people's monitors are widescreen as well as their phones. The layout I decided on is responsive though. So it should adapt to non-widescreen monitors just fine. 

We will keep the forums the same (barring a name change and maybe new backgrounds) and the CP will remain FluxCP (but not as busy as it is now). The change will be to the [insertcleverservername].com landing page for new players and possibly returning players. Everyone else can proceed with their browsing as per usual. :)

Ya know, I had to click on your status to make sure there wasn't any no-no stuff posted. I regret my decision to check and I'm going to trust your video because there's no way I'm watching that. You win this round. 

They are on Merkel's banned player accounts. I know where those are. As soon as I'm confident I have his item logs complete those accounts will be wiped. 

If it helps anyone, all those fenrir don't go to any specific guild members or even "famous" players. It seems they were placed on the account and have never be logged into. It's like a GM got bored one day and picked out a bunch of random SGs then put Fenrirs on them.

You mean if you got them from the old website or if it came from the Auro Shop? Yes. There is a special tag that will show it was generated from these types of items. If the item was spawned the item log is tagged with GM Created. 

The original list was much longer, but the items had been traded back. I took them out if the items balanced.

I'm anticipating this happening at some point. That happens with a lot of item recoveries. You find an SQI has changed hands 6 times, been upgraded, and cards changed. If that's the case, I'm going to note the item as a "loss" or something similar. 

I discussed with Finnian what the best course of action would be regarding these recoveries. In the interest of time, If the item is a non-SQI or non-OP over upped gear I'm going to look for the item on the account listed in the initial trade. If the item is not there, I will take a look on their other accounts. If not there, I will stop the search. If the item is a SQI or crazy over upped something, I'm going to dig much further. 

There are going to be things I cannot recover. I'm considering making a nice visual aid for everyone so they can see how the recovery is progressing. 

I don't know everyone's forum account. A lot of people's in game names don't match their forum name. 

I wasn't. I had recently done a once over on all the PRs we hired when I was hired to be sure. And the brand new PRs can't spawn items at all per my request.  

No one has informed me of anything regarding other GMs. Is that something that should happen to? 

I know. I'm trying not to. 

I wish we could work on the honor system here and me just say "Return your Merkel gear to me!" and toss them in a bonfire. However, some of the people that are crying the loudest about the corruption of the server are the very people who corrupted it! Shame on them. 

Unless that was all a lie too! Who knows.

Right now I'm on Merkel Logs from October 20, 2014. I am working backward from May 2015 (even though there wasn't much spawning going on at that time). It's easier to see when people traded gear back if I work backward. 

I'm terrified to even look at the player account logs. There will be a point were I cannot recovery anymore or I draw the line and have to reconsider what is best for the server. I don't want to wipe anything. I value the gear I worked and the time leveling my chars just as everyone else. Tough decision to make.

Guessing at people's GM identities are hit or miss. Just like he's guessing at who can see the support tickets. Just like he's guessing at gear that don't even exists (slotted megs and newer SQI... wut). 

I think he's been paying attention to some serious psychology books or talks. I once heard that if you bombard people with a bunch of indisputable facts, such as the gear he and his family received, and put lies around it people are more likely to believe the lies. 

I donno. I'm not going to waste my breath replying to him. Don't feed the trolls, amirite?

Yes. Skylar came to me to check the logs. I did, but I was so new at the time that I didn't know what I was seeing at the time. Backed with the whole "staff pay"/"money owed"/"just testing" speech he gave me I just ignored the whole thing because I knew he would be too busy to log into the server to use any of his gears.  I don't know what I could have done at that point if I had really known what was going on. Probably nothing except be fired.

I can tell you all, when I came back, I didn't receive any gear from him, but 1b zeny from his super novice. I never thought anything of it. His account was super old and  I figured he'd be hella rich by now. That and if you consider the staff "pay" I thought maybe it came from there. There's no real way to know if that zeny is legit or not, but I've always left bad having it on my account.

I still have the 1b zeny and I will be removing it from my account.

I'm willing to risk this.
