Advent Calendar : Day 13

Have you ever stay up all night decorating for Christmas, which includes putting the tree together, fluffing the tree so the branches look nice, putting all the ornaments on. Set up all  the rest of the holiday decorations, from 11pm to 8am, and then having to wait for your instacart till almost 5pm, even though they said it should arrive somewhere between 8am to 11am. And in that time had to clean up cat puke twice, and only finally get about an hour nap, before you remember that the tomorrow's puzzle still needs to be written up, and looking at the clock you thought it was 7pm to 8pm but it's actually only 30 minutes since you laid down...Just me? I'm sure it's fine....

 

Hello Jellybeans, today is our 13th day in our lovely puzzle event.

 

Today's puzzle will be one of the few last ones before the gloves come off, and hopefully you guys are ready for those coming up. 

 

So like yesterday we did a Sudoku puzzle with Hex. Today you are doing the same, but this time it's letters. 

 

A B C D E F G H I J K L M N O P   are valid letters that can fit into the grid. 

Unlike yesterdays the diagonal is unique as well.  

 

So a reminder: A B C D E F G H I J K L M N O P  must show up at least once in each ROW, COLUMN, and BOX

And in the grays going from top left to bottom right,   and from the top Right to bottom left.

 

 

In Reading order (left to right, top to bottom) the RED letters are our ODD Letter, The BLUE letters are our EVEN Letters.

 

Because of the restrictions of the code, you will have to follow the 'compression' system. Where you add the letters together, / 2, and round accordingly that we did in Day 11

solved the sudoku. working on the compression system now 👍

assuming I make pairs with 1 odd 1 even in order of how I found them. we will see.
