This month we celebrate togetherness and new beginnings! February 10th kicks off the Lunar New Year festivities, but we're getting started early and going until the next scheduled update so everyone has time to participate. We have an extra live event or two planned aside from the regular weekly event we host on Saturday at 9 PM. Keep an eye on the forum calendar and Discord for upcoming details on other events. We also brought back an unslotter NPC, with a new twist for the Year of the Dragon. The JellyRO staff wishes you all a happy, healthy, and prosperous New Year!
Welcome, Great Dragon!
Behold! The Great Dragon, Dilong, has awoken and is gracing Louyang with his presence to bring good fortune to all who visit. At least we're pretty sure he's Dilong. I haven't actually met him before, but we invited him, and a dragon showed up in Louyang so we're rolling with it. Don't tell him I said this, but something seems a bit off about him. I can't quite make heads or tails of it. When you talk to him, you'll see what I mean.
Anyway! The show must go on, and the Great Dragon is ready to unslot cards from your equipment for only 2m zeny per card. To make the deal even better, the Great Dragon will gift you a red envelope containing a significantly boosted random amount of zeny! And you didn't hear this from me, but he will only give one envelope per transaction, even if you remove more than one card at a time.
What? Of course I respect the Great Dragon. But there's only one dragon I fear, and it's not him.

Server Reward
What generous Jellybeans you are! Yet again we are able to pay our bills and more thanks to your contributions, so a server-wide reward is in order. We hope you all enjoy boosted experience and drop rates: 15/15/7 !
Last month, autoloot commands were a big hit and started some important debates, but no final decision has been made on which if any autoloot commands will become a permanent addition. So that reward has ended, and will hopefully come back again soon.
Like last month's reward, the boosted rates will only be staying until the next maintenance. If it proves to be as popular as the last one, you may be seeing more of it in the future, but I must emphasize that it is temporary.

Another Halloween has come and gone, and for our friends in the Northern Hemisphere, winter is coming... or in some of our cases has already arrived like an uninvited house guest that is eating all your snacks. So for November, Staff will be working on Christmas stuff, while those who celebrate Thanksgiving this time of year enter into a food coma from eating too much turkey.

Rule Change
Inappropriately named vendor shops have been a problem in the past, and again recently. It's a problem because these signs, which can stay up for quite a while, are highly visible and are nearly impossible to avoid if one needs to visit Prontera. We understand that players use their vendors as a means of protesting, and in some cases even harassing staff, but enough is enough.
The following rule has been added to Public Mischief.
Setting up a Vending/Buying Shop or a Chat Room with an inappropriate message on the sign.
- Inappropriate topics for player-made signs include, but are not limited to: politics, religion, and sex.
- The offending character will be disconnected from the server to remove the sign.
- This offense earns a 24 Hour Mute for the offending character. On a player's third offense and beyond, they will receive a temporary ban on one or more accounts as deemed necessary.
If three or more staff members have deemed the shop name to be inappropriate then it will be treated as such. We will not provide a list of everything that is inappropriate. If you push the boundary, you'll find out. Most of you are adults, so you know what you are doing.

Summer is winding down, and the festivities have concluded as we get ready for Fall and Spooky Season! We hope you enjoyed the carnival and got all the prizes you wanted. Did anyone try the Petting Zoo game? Tell us what you thought of it. We already have a few improvements in mind for next summer, including an update for the contents of Summer Gachas. Stay tuned for more details on that in the near future. Also, Barb the bear was happy to get so much business from unslotting cards from your items. She'll be set for a while so don't expect her to come back very soon, but I'm sure we'll see her again.

JellyRO Jam Collection Event
Calling all Jellybeans to participate in our sweetest event yet! I've been preparing jam and have stored it into special Marins to roam the land. Your task is to hunt down these unique Marin monsters and collect as much jam as you can. The more jam you gather, the better your chances of winning fantastic prizes!
How to Participate:
- Hunt down the special Jam Marins.
- Defeat these Marins to collect their jam drops.
- Store the jam in your storage until the end of the event
Winning Prizes:
The Top 4 players with the most jam in their storage at the end of the event will win prizes.
Like our pervious event we'll be letting the top players choose their package from the prize pool via rodex mail.

Ah~ lazy summer days! This update is a bit on the light side, but we're just saving our energy for next month! We still managed to squeeze in a couple changes we hope you enjoy. If you feel like rage-quitting every time you get a Mercenary Summon Scroll from a Jellyblob, you will be pleased to know we have removed all but the level 3 and 6 scrolls, and added level 10 scrolls. You'll see them a lot less than before. Also, we added some rare pet taming items to the Jellyblobs. A complete list can be found in the Additional Notes.
The Party Don't Stop!
At least not until the beginning of September. If you have been participating in any Summer Event activities, you probably got a few Event Costume Boxes (containing Summer Suits) and Summer Festival Coins. Make sure you keep those in a safe place because rumor has it the Carnival Crew will make their annual appearance again for the End-of-Summer Festival this August, and those items will come in handy for playing games at the festival.

Suit up, Jellybeans! It's time to hit the beach. The sand is hot, but the prizes are super cool! In addition to our Summer traditions of volleyball and summer suits (more on these later), we put a cute little random item capsule in the Auro Shop that will keep you coming back for more... surely this time you'll get that rare Guardian Angel [1] or Demonic Whispers [1] mid headgear. Summer is just starting to heat up, and you can expect plenty of fun times ahead. This event runs all season long with another update or two along the way. For now, get out there and practice your Super Mega Final Spike Attack!
Fun in the Sun!
Volleyball is back on Beacon Island! (/navi cmd_fild07 255/111) Gather a partner and another team of 2, and pay 1000z per player to participate. Join as either Team Galapago or Team Smokie to score points against your opponent and keep them from scoring points against you. Details can be found here. Winners can get Auro up to 3 times a day! You may also win Summer Coins, which you will want to save for later this summer.
Random monsters will drop Aloha Shirts and Swimming Shorts that you can bring to Tailor Jessica near the volleyball court at Beacon Island in exchange for Event Costume Boxes (#1 or #2), which each contain a full-body summer suit costume. Two different boxes means two styles of summer suits! In addition to the classic summer suit, there is a newer alternate version for you to show off.
As an added bonus, you automatically change into one of the summer suits when you start a volleyball game, and there is a chance that your summer suit will magically transform to the other version during the game! (Magical transformation sequence not included.)
And don't forget to check out the Auro Shop where a fun-filled new item box called Summer Gacha is now available for 500 Auro each. It may contain a costume, headgear, cards, or a few other equipment items that range from uncommon to epic! If you're very lucky, you may even find a Custom Kaho! The contents from the old Summer Packs and Summer Crates have been added to Summer Gacha. You may still open Summer Packs/Crates and get items from their respective lists, but you only have until next summer to do so. For Summer 2024, we will replace any remaining Summer Packs/Crates with Summer Gachas.

Our latest server update for the month of April is here! While this update does not include any seasonal events, we have added some cute Spring-themed costumes to the Auro Shop that we're sure you'll love.
Our team remains dedicated to making JellyRO the best it can be, and we added more bugs to the list in the past month, but unfortunately we do not have any fixes to implement in this update. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we get back into the swing of things this month. As always, we encourage you to share your thoughts with us. Greetings, Jellybeans! We hope you're all doing well and enjoying your time in JellyRO. Spring will be here soon and we have been in the mood for growth and rejuvenation. With that in mind, we would like to take a moment to update you on the latest maintenance work we've done on our server.
Our team has been hard at work behind the scenes addressing various bugs and issues impacting the quality of your gaming experience. During this latest round of server maintenance, we have focused primarily on implementing the framework for a major update in the future, fixing bugs, and optimizing server performance.
We are committed to keeping our server running smoothly and providing an enjoyable experience for our players. There are still many more bugs to fix so we will keep working toward our goal. In the meantime, if you encounter any bugs or issues during your gameplay, please do not hesitate to let us know. We are always listening.

Bugs Begone!
We have been fixing some pesky bugs in the game and we're happy to announce that they have been squashed! Male hairstyle 21 no longer shows a line on the side, and the six costumes (Chick Hat, Love JellyRO, Dropping Dorasuke, Grim Reaper Protection, Whistle, Piamette Hood) now display the intended abbreviation of "C." in the item name. Sweet Memory Marriage has also been adjusted to last for the full hour as described and Bell Ribbon no longer removes Angelus status effect when unequipped. Additionally, we have made improvements to the Zeny to Auro and Kaho shops to ensure they close properly when the cancel button is clicked. There were several other bugs that we tried to tackle this month, but were having troubles replicating them.
We are also excited to share that our team has been hard at work laying the groundwork for Player IDs. While they are not fully implemented yet, we are making progress and look forward to sharing more updates in the future. Thank you for your patience and support as we work to improve the game and enhance your gameplay experience.
While our team faced some challenges this month, we are proud of the progress we made in improving JellyRO's gameplay experience. Our dedicated back-end team worked tirelessly to tackle a number of bugs that were impacting players, and have successfully implemented several fixes to improve gameplay. You're right. This version of WoE is for testing. The change in mechanics means that players might want to rethink their builds and other strategies. That's why we wanted to make sure it is accessible to players at any time they feel like trying it. Later versions of WoE are probably not going to be on 24/7. We may or may not keep this version available when the other versions are done.

It's time to get the gang back together and claim your castle!
We are finally bringing back War of Emperium, and it's going to be different, but we hope you'll try it out and give us constructive feedback. This is just the first of a few versions of WoE that we'll be rolling out, and it's far from a finished product, but it's functional. Think of this as open Alpha testing. We can't wait to see how it will evolve as more features and fixes are added.
WoE Update: It's On
Have you ever wished for more opportunities to participate in WoE? Now you can WoE any time you want! The catch is that anyone else can WoE any time they want too... Welcome to Endless WoE.
Make a plan with your guildmates and allies to keep up a defense and hold on to your castle as long as possible, or see if you can capture all four before someone breaks your streak. Wait silently, keeping an eye on your rivals, or issue a challenge for them to come and try to take your castle. Your strategy and play style is up to you, but be prepared for anything!
That's not all! Talk to the Guild Dungeon Warper (Prontera 170, 288) to access guild dungeons in regions with active castles. You still have to be in a guild to enter, but your guild doesn't need to own any castles.
Major Changes- WoE is on 24/7 (all day, every day)
- No investments in Castle Economy, no treasure chests
- Defense investments have no daily limit, and take effect immediately
- Emperium takes one point of damage per hit
- Safety wall and Pneuma have no effect on Emperium
- Guild dungeons open to all guilds (GvG is still enabled)

All I can say at this point is to try reinstalling the game. There is no patch that should have removed the button from the game, and we have made no changes to the client (jRO.exe) for years.
Late for a Very Important Date: The Tales of Two Rabbits

Greetings and salutations to all our wonderful Jellybeans. While St. Patrick's Day has come and gone, Easter has left us in a bit of a weird situation. On the one hand it was the last day of the month before maintenance, but on the other hand our maintenance was set to occur on April 1st. A very hard time to let people know we're doing maintenance and them thinking it's a joke, but that's alright. Now onto the main announcement.
Clover and Thumper
These two little rabbits came from Eastrelund to join us this year, but sadly their airship was delayed. So instead of hiding eggs and giving out candy like most Bunnies and Rabbits do from Eastrelund, they have nothing to do but see the sights. Thumper is visiting Prontera and has brought some things with him, which he is willing to share for a limited time with those who are interested. Clover, on the other hand, was more interested in Izlude. Be sure to say hi to them before their flight back to Eastrelund comes about. Keep in mind that any items from this event will disappear when they return home.
While Thumper's rewards are tradeable, they are not sellable. DO NOT TRADE OR SELL THEM FOR ANYTHING IN EXCHANGE.
Give them to your friends and guildmates. Spread the love and joy, but do not sell them. If someone is trying to sell them, please report. They are meant to be fun, not a commodity.

GM Weekly Event Change
We asked on our Discord to get feedback on when is a good time to run the Weekly GM Event. The results of the survey are that we'll be moving the Weekly GM Event to Friday 8 pm server time. Basically same time, different day. We thank everyone who had participated in the survey.
